Smilies.....where are you guys getting

where are you getting all the different smileys?? Are they on BYC?
I've seen all the regulars ones.........

when you go to make a post look to your right and you will see the word Smilies click that it will bring them up then click on the one u want

I had the same question - I saw the smilies above my reply or post but on the right side wher it says Smilies [show] [hide] - I NEVER clicked on the show - once I did - my question was answered - there they are!

I originally thought it was to show or hide smilies if I was having problems with bandwith and needed to get a faster download!

Actually you have to download them to your computer and then upload them to a hosting service of some sort - photobucket or whatever. Then you link to them there. I've got quite a collection I keep on my own webspace, here are a few

Here are a few more for you.

Just copy the pic and put it into a folder on your computer.
Then, upload them to your BYC upload or even photobucket.
I use photobucket for pics that I know I will eventually delete
off this site. The thread will just show a x thingy. I do this
for the site as I know it takes up alot of hard drive space for these
pitures. The ones I will use forever on here I upload to the BYC
upload. I just wish one could get more space for thier upload, but i
know it would be abused.

So here ya go.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Usually you have to use the "save picture" option to get the
gif files. Gif files are those type of smileys that are animated and a sequence of
different pics presented in a few frames. (as above)
