Yes, you can see them in chicken poop. Speaking of ruining appetites, this link shows a roundworm in an egg. A roundworm worked its way down to the vent and then back up through the internal plumbing to the shell gland where it got enclosed in the egg. This is one of the many reasons I suggest we open our eggs in a separate bowl before we add them to anything. We do not candle them like the commercial operations to avoid things like this.

I couldve gone my entire life without seeing that worm in that egg and been 100% happier
