A red earred slider is a turtle. We can get them in pet stores in florida but they are all over the rivers lol.

I woke up this morning to a bright, beautiful day. The window was open so I took a long deep breath of the air...and it smelled fresh, like Spring!

And seeing Ivory, my 6-week old baby chick, made me smile.

Hundreds and hundreds of Tundra Swans in a soggy field stopping off on their way north. I love the sound they make.

Haha it all depends on the turtles attitude. I have had friendly ones and I have had ones that hiss and bite but they usually give you a warning before they bite lol.

Hi! A possum in the live trap made me smile this morning.
Then I was not smiling when I realized it was a female with young ones in her pouch --- she's been happily munching catfood and waiting relocation.

What made me smile today:
-Looking at my new chicked pens.
-Watching Alice in Wonderland.
-Going to Walmart and getting a Nirvana cd.
-Listening to the Nirvana cd.
-My mom looking at the cd cover and seeing a strange looking guy in a bathrobe playing guitar at a huge concert, and asking ''Who's that?'', and me saying ''Kurt Cobain. I think I have told you that before.''
Doesn't take much to make me smile
