Smoke and fire

The tiny dinosaurs are not impressed with all of the smoke and fire around us. They skipped breakfast to roost this morning. I know avian can be especially susceptible to respiratory illness. How well do they handle heavy smoke?

My mom.lives in a very wildfire prone area and often has heavy smoke and has never mentioned the chickens have long-term repercussions from it. Her birds live to be very old. I don't know if that helps

We had days of heavy smoke. I never had any problems with my chickens...but also, what can you do about it?
