Smoke/poo question

I was wondering maybe this question has been already been asked. I'm in upper part of Pennsylvania and we are getting the smoke from the fire from Canada. The question is is it safe for the ducks to be outside or should I keep them locked up inside.
The next question my ducks I'm not sure which one has runny stool it's nothing but water. But when I check this morning it's still nothing but water but it had some softer stool with it nothing like this morning I have have attached a couple pictures to get impute.. any information would be helpful. Thank you in advance

I am In the DC metro area. Code Red air today. My ducks are out in it as we are visiting here. They would go stir crazy if I left them in the confines of the shed. So, like me, they are taking their chances and looking forward to cleaner air when we return home to Florida.

Your duck poo looks normal. It's watery when the ducks drink a lot of water which mine do from their wading pool all day

I was talking to a lady that I normally do about the stool that has ducks of her own and she never heard of it that's why I thought I was ask on here.. water was what I was wonder as well..
The smoke I heard it could cause breathing issues but I'm all new to this that's why I'm on here... thank you for all the information

I was wondering about the smoke and my chickens too. We were code red, almost to purple in some spots here today in western PA. Really lousy stuff. Looked like early morning fog but lasted all day. But I don't see any solution other than using VetRX and hoping for the best. I think like for most people, it's not a viable option to keep them locked up for any length of time and especially on hot days plus limited ventilation would be worse for them than the bad air.

We are in the very unhealthy code purple. Although i think today the skies look clearer. Mine seem to be doing ok so far with the smoke but im still watching for any signs of hard breathing/respiratory issues.
My ducks have some poops like yours but they are swimming/playing in water all day. And consistently drinking it. And they do usally go back to normal.

My ducks are playing and acting normal as well. We are some what smokey but not to bad.. I haven't checked to see what the air is like here.. I'm up by the ny board

I'm in Eastern Ontario and we have been seriously affected by the smoke. I'm not changing how I handle the poultry (ducks, chickens, and peacocks) by keeping them in coops. I don't think the air in the coop is any better than outside so I am keeping to their usual routine. None of them seem to be having any breathing problems so far.
