My daughter's preschool teacher has raised many, many chicks, and we decided she would keep my babies in her classroom during the week, and I would bring them home on the weekend. Last night, the light fell into the brooder and burned a hole in the bottom!
The whole room was filled with smoke, and luckily, the night janitor was close by and took care of everything. My question is: am I going to lose my babies from smoke inhalation? How long will it take for them to show respiratory symptoms?
Anyone with any experience with this sort of thing?
Thanks!!
