Smoked eggs...

My dad made me some smoked eggs the other night. Id never had them before. He just put them in the smoker on his grill(in the shell like a hard boiled egg), and boy were they yummy! They have a beautiful smoke ring around the yolk. So, anybody else ever smoked an egg?

That is neat, never even heard of a smoked egg. Do you hard boil them first or just put them in the smoker?

My DH loves to smoke meat & I think I'll try this the next time he fires up the smoker. I did a Google search & came up with this:
