Morning all! @CapricornFarm, you are 5 years ahead of me! I just had my 11th anniversary here. Time flies when you are having fun, doesn't it.

Our morning started off with a bang. DH's credit card got hit with 7 fraud charges. Somebody using UBER on our dime. He had only used his credit card once and that was at Home Depot and it started after that so that is where they are starting their investigation. Luckily we have fraud protection on our account so all is good but man that p****s a body off especially first thing in the morning and having to deal with it before you have your cup of brown liquid sadness.

Everyone have a great morning. Today is laundry day for me...oh, joy.

LORD Jesus willing a good full day here! I already got school done with our elementary crew, and now they can play. Playing in the snow was a big motivator for them to get it done! I really want to make bread today, clean the bathrooms, and I need to go to the post office. They won't deliver on our icy road, but are holding it at the post office. I also need to take some bedding out to the chicken coop. Of course I have chicken chores to do. I really should make them a treat they are NOT happy with this cold weather. I told our rooster I'm ready for summer this morning haha!

Yes, credit card fraud is a royal pain! We dealt with it about a month ago. Fortunately DH has a back-up card, as do I. Anything I detest, it's a liar, cheat and thief. A pox upon them!

Good afternoon All. I have declared this to be a do nothing that is not necessary day. I slept until 10:30! and am not motivated to do anything but sit here and drink coffee. MC I'm sorry you are having to deal with the aggravation of fraud. I have set an alert on my card so if it is charged more than a certain amount the company alerts me.

Mine alerts me if it sees anything weird. Like a charge suddenly out of state, or at a store we have never used before. That last one was a charge just after midnight. They're very good at flagging anything unusual.

My mama experienced fraud this morning on their debit card. She said she went to the auto store, and they said it wouldn't go through. She came home, and had my dad check the account. It was good. So they called the bank. The bank said it was due to a "fraud alert" and that they would unfreeze it. One of her windshield wipers broke. I hope she was able to get it on there right. My dad is disabled, and can't get out in the snow/ice.

I usually buy my wipers at Auto Zone. They install them for me right there in the parking lot. Lovely people.
