smoked stufffed chicken

We came up with this one last spring after our first harvest!

take a whole chicken and stuff the inside with fresh sausage or brats of your choice, lay breast side down in smoker so the juice from the sausage runs thru the breast as it smokes....I thought it was pretty darn good!!
 
It sounds wonderful, Tad. I did a turkey recently like you suggested only in the oven. It turned out really well!! Will give it a try with a chicken.
