Snacks for baby duck boredom

What kind of veggies or otherwise can I feed them to keep that "tasting everything" urge in check. At first I thought they were eating their pine shavings but later I found it but they put everything in their mouth like a human kid does. LOL

I tell ya my ducklings loved their treat ball when they were still in the brooder. I’d put meal worms in it and they’d go to town.

Sometimes I'll cut a piece of sod out of the lawn and throw it in their pen as well, good way for them to build some immunity to pathogens/bacteria. Just provide grit if you do and don't use grass that had been sprayed or fertilized recently.

My baby chicks like having a piece of sod in their brooder making mince meat out of it in no time.

Be warned! their waterer will be black in no time.

I cut up watermelon and tomatoes real tiny and they love that so much as well at the treat ball with mealworms to chase around. You can get the ball at TSC for about $5

If you feed tomatoes/watermelon, don't be alarmed if their poop is red. That goes for most brightly colored treats.
