Snacks, when and how often?

We typically feed the 6 mo old pullets(JG and two barnyard mix((possible amer.)) layer crumbles. Before they get locked back inside at night, kids give bit of scratch and corral them inside. What other types of snacks do you give? They free range during the day,

Hello! I give my chickens some different veggies and fruits for a treat, depending on the season. They do like to clean off the cantalope rinds and really any melon rinds. They like to peck at a raw cabbage head, I give them apples sometimes. Yesterday they got the rest of the corn from dinner.

That's about it. I do have a friend who gives her chickens warm oatmeal. She also throws out a bunch of kale for them too.
