Snake came to visit

Sitting with our chickens and a night adder decides he wants to come and visit. Chickens were cautiously interested but then it disappeared alongside the coop and run area. I think I need steel capped boots to go in there this evening!!!

Yeah...steel toe caps are a good idea..my granny has a grass snake and its really vicious if your scare it!!!

We get adders here. They rarely go where the chickens are. They are not aggressive snakes and on the rare occasions the chickens come across one when foraging they stand around and 'erp' at it until it goes away.

I'm sure he's more likely long gone but I would hate for him to get hurt or me to stand on him accidentally.

I get snakes weekly here.

I go in my steel capped boots cause we get red belly black snakes
On thicken coop drinker for water
