Snake in duck pen!

We think we just found ether a copperhead or water snake in my duck pen. We're afraid of it hurting our ducks, and I saw it go right twoards some; but I don't know if it was after them or trying to get away from me. I saw it swim into the pond and now we can't find it. What should we do with our ducks?

They're adults. At least 2-3 years old

Not much you can do. I doubt the snake could harm an adult duck. But, it might go after their eggs.

Should I put my ducks in a pen or pet carrier for tonight? Should I leave eggs out as bait? Is there anything I could do to make my dicks safer?
