Snake in the coop

One of the girls was up on the porch and in the attached shed being a pest today. So I after trying to shoo her off, her persistance won out, so I scoop her up and carried her back to he coop and the nesting boxes. While setting her on a nest I saw the flicker of a tail. OK, fire drill and quick exit for girls and me, then regrouped. After a snake removal and the reopening of the coop and nesting box. Surpise, in no time another fresh egg.
Lesson- They're acting strange strange for a reason.......
 
I agree! I have learned so much from watching my girls! They are smarter than we think, and dumber than we can imagine at other times. LOL
