Well, I was working in my brooding house yesterday with the 29 chicks when I heard my hens making all sorts of noise. I left the brooding house and went to the Coop and saw this thing under the poop board. He was in the nest where my duck and a few of the young hens lay. I had set some golf balls there to get the birds to lay in one spot (if they are not going to lay in a nest box, I don't want to have to hunt for eggs everyday). This rat snake had already eaten one golf ball, and had another one in his mouth. Needless to say, I got my golf balls back.
