i have an albino burmese python, normal burmese python, 2 columbian redtail boas brazillian rainbow boa, dumerils boa, and ball python, amongst my 6 chickens and 22 rabbits cat and 2 dogs.
i hate to hear of the chickens eating the snakes but i guess there wild snakes so whatever. circle of life sucks to hear a snake going out to a chicken though rofl, those chickens were lucky it was just a baby snake and not something much larger like my 11 foot 100lb burmese lol, no but it could have been something bigger to your native area.
now they see snakes and are going to think they are a treat and hopefully next time its not venomous.
