Sneaky broody hen question

My silky hen that was hatched last year has decided to go broody on me. Normally I would let her brood but the father of the eggs she is sitting on is her brother. Will that create any problems with the chicks? I would kick her off the nest but the eggs are already developing and I would feel like I was killing them if I did kick her off. Should I just let her hatch and raise the babies? Or should I take the chicks after they hatch and raise them myself so I can keep a better eye on them? I’m new to hatching chicks

Unless they are from a highly inbred line, the chicks should be fine. Let the hen raise them. It's easier, and she knows what to do.

You should not have a issue, that is how breeders get traits that they are wanting, feathering, other features, they'll breed the two that have the qualities they are wanting,, brother to sister, father to daughter, Son to mother, etc.. Personally I don't think I'd let it go more than three generations before adding new DNA to the mix. I've been rotating out my roo's, so that there is a good bit of new DNA.. But then, I am not a breeder, while I love the different feathering patterns, I don't breed to get it.
