I've got 5 ducks 6 months old... and none of them are laying. I keep 3 of them with the older (18 months) 3 ducks, and no eggs... the other 2 are mallards, and they refuse to be penned up... Anyway, I saw one of the mallards come out from the side of our shed, and then I went to look, and there was a NEST! with 7 little dirty cold eggs in it! They're not setting, but they apparently ARE LAYING!!! YAY!!! so I colored the eggs blue with a crayon, and plan on stealing any new eggs. I am SO happy!
