Who knew those birds were *so* good at flying. One escaped when I was switching out something in their pen. Any other time that's happened I just reach down and pick them up and put them back. This time that thing was all the way across the yard and then over the fence and off to who knows where in about 10 seconds. I wish it wouldn't have been a hen, and a hen of a neat color on top of that. Argh.

Maybe she will get lonely and come back to visit her buddies.

Well, guess who was sitting on my back patio. My husband and I went to catch her and of course she flew off again like a speed demon, but she tried to fly onto the neighbors roof and missed. She smacked into the side of his house pretty good and fell underneath a tree, she was pretty stunned and we just scooped her up. Hopefully she's not hurt, we're happy to have her back.

that just reminded me of the time my brother, brother-in-law, and myself ran after a a&m hen on 2 acres good thing she was white otherwise i wouldnt of been able to catch her
