Hi,
I have a RIR which has been, I guess, sneezing on occasion. It is just a quick high pitched sound as if she is clearing her nostrils.
No swelling
No congestion
No discharge.
Just today I noticed she was closing one eye. She had a stiff, kind of blade of grass of sort sticking from her beak which was very close to her eye. She also had a poopy butt.
It is windy today and was very windy yesterday. Maybe the eye was caused by the wind and/or the stick.
She laid yesterday and seems OK otherwise.
I removed the foreign body and put a double dose of vinegar and one clove of garlic cut in four in their water tonight.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
