I have 2 hens, living in the same coop alone, they both started sneezing and shaking their heads. Their coop gets dusty so is this the cause of it? Should I treat them with something? No other signs so far

Dust in the coop or in their feed could be a cause of sneezing. How often is each one sneezing, and does this go on throughout the day and night? Or do they tend to sneeze a few times during eating? How much ventilation do you have in your coop? Have you seen any wet spots or mold? Medication won’t help if it is an environmental problem. Can you look for any drainage or foam from their eyes, or nasal drainage?

I've looked and no foam in their eyes or drainage from nose. They have decent ventilation in their coop and I let them out for an 1 hour everyday to free range. I hear them sneezing in their coop multiple times per day, one of them more than the other, and I see them sneezing and shaking their heads when free ranging. I have not seen any wet spots or mold.

Do you possibly have a sense about whether your chickens are intentionally shaking their head as if to get rid of something, or whether their head is involuntarily shaking as if a nerve symptom (neurological)??
