Sneezing chicks

I was woundering if anything is wrong with my chicks if they are sneezing and making a little ch.. noise every once and a while ? Cold? dust?

Are they still in the brooder? If so, it could be dusty bedding or even any chemical smells in their area.

yes they are still in the brooder on pine shavings. but I put them outside for a little and they still did it there Mabe they are alergic to pollen like the rest of us. I bet they will be fine I am just worried they got cold outside.

New smells, dust, whatever they aren't used to can make them sneeze. They're probably fine. I have one hen who sneezes when she pigs out and eats too fast, LOL.

Thanks I wont worry any more I love my new chicks they are a backyard project in the suburbs. I am in highschool but I want to go to corrnell agriculture so its not realy a project it more like the beginings of my career I wan to go to cornell agriculture.

I'm not sure, I have the same question.

I am battling bronchitus and the crude. My chickens are 6 months old today and they are sneezing and have the doo doos. I was wondering if I gave them the crude.

Can humans pass on the crude to their chickens? I have been wondering that since Sam died.

Anyone? When your sick, do you need to get a sitter for your chickens?

Actually there are some things bird owners can pass on to their birds and vice versa ...strain specific and not able to answer your question because of that. being caring and aware of this fact is a good precaution... take care that your hands have been washed when handling your birds... and vice versa. Good biosecurity measures are called for for the health of you and your birds.
