Sneezing Ducks

To check her throat pick her up and feel along her neck you can also wrap her in a towel if you think looking into her mouth may be a good idea. looks to me she is inside a fenced area, so probably doesn't have access to places where she could have eaten something she shouldn't have. And over heating could be the problem if your having a heat wave. Put her into to tub when she gets out see if she begins to preen, and if she is opening her mouth. I can see her mouth is open but she doesn't look in distress, is she acting like she is in distress? also I have read that spinach isn't good for waterfowl. it blocks the absorption of something I will have to look it up but don't feed them spinach. other greens like kale. Lettuce etc is fine.

she has stayed inside run all day and not come out the others have. she now has clear liquid coming out the holes in her beak???
Did the liquid run out after she had drank water, which can cause water to run out the nares? other than medical attention I am not sure what else you can do. other than watching her to make sure she can swallow. Does she seem in distress?

she hasnt dunked her head today but i did spray her a littke to keep her cool. she doesnt look distressed just sat there and occasionaly walks around. going to see if i can find a vet or something i think thank you for all your help xxx

please let us know how she is doing? I read your other post too and being in a new place then having their run enlarged can cause stress and is one reason your not seeing eggs, it will take a little time for them to feel at home but once they do you'll see the eggs start to come, and molting will also stop egg production. high heat too.

Thank you so much, shes out on the grass free ranging with the other two now, her beak is now closed and she is digging up the grass!! im so relieved she just looks a bit puffy in the face but that might just be me! gonna keep a close eye on her, we are due some big thunder storms hope they will be ok its been one thing after another! I really apreciate all your info guys thank you xxxx
