sneezing hens!

One of my hens has started sneezing for about a week with no other symptoms. Now one of my others has started sneezing again just sneezing and no other symptoms. both are happy enough in themselves and eating/drinking normally. Any suggestions? Should I take them to the vet?

hi they probably have some mild respiratory disease.i expect they will be fine but keep an eye. depending on the cause they may end up carriers but that probably that isn't too awful. i've had mild respiratory issues in the past.
don't know where in the world you are but vets are often expensive. know very little about chickens and can't do a lot anyway. i'm sure many people have wonderful vets but ......

Thanks that seems like sensible advice! I'm in a little village in rural England but we do have a specialist chicken vet locally believe it or not. However, as they seem fine apart from sneezing I'm reluctant to put them through the stress of vet treatment
