I tried to post this on the illness page but no one responded so I thought I would try here
This is my first go at raising chicks and I just have no idea if this is a normal variant of chick behavior. I have a chick that has been sneezing occasionally and seems to be breathing a little faster then the rest of the chicks. She otherwise is doing great. She is running around, eating, drinking, normal bowel habits. I'm not sure what to make of this? She is growing well, is about 2 weeks old now and feathers are coming in nicely. She doesn't seem to be struggling to breath at all. She has no crusting around the nose. Eye look great. She is very friendly and interactive. She literally looks fine except for the occasional sneezing and breathing faster then her chick family. She is the only easter egger I have and I wonder if it is just normal for some breeds to have different metabolic rate? Maybe I'm over worried since I lost a few chicks early on. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
