I recently brought home a 3 month old pullet Cochin frizzle (named Pearl). She has been sneezing and has an occasional snot bubble that appears on a single nostril hole. I'm so scared it's MG! What are other symptoms I should watch out for to either confirm or rule out MG? Is MG really that common? She is showing no other symptoms besides those that I've stated. Good energy, eating, drinking, normal poops, no goopy eyes or raspy breathing. I do not want to pay $150 vet bill for a bird that cost me $10, however she has quickly become my favorite girl... help!
She has been in a cage with two other birds- none of which have been introduced to the main flock yet. Pearl is pictured in the attached photo.

I've recognized no improvement. The two other pullets that have been penned with her since day one are showing no signs of respiratory illness, so that's good. But I've also read there is quite a lengthy incubation period for these types of things. I have the three separated from my other babies and plan on keeping it that way. Pearl is however very active, eating, drinking, normal poops, and no noted facial swelling or irritation. I'm hoping she will begin to show improvement soon...fingers crossed!
