1) What type of bird , age and weight.
Barred Rock, GLW, Dark Brahma & Buff Orpington - 16 days old

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Sneezing & sometimes when they sneeze a little water comes out of their nostrils (clear liquid, just like water - defitinitely not snot). Mostly when they are moving around a lot. Usually it is just one sneeze at a time. The dark brahma usually has 3 or 4 sneezes in a row. They are eating, pooping, drinking & playing normally. No wheezing & they are all feathering out.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
I notice 1 Barred Rock doing it about a week ago. Now there are more sneezing.

4) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No

5) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
They do seem to be creating more & more dust as they are getting more active (dust bathing in the shaving, trying to fly, etc)

6) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Chick stater crumbles, water, parakeet grit and a few baby worms

7) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
Normal

8) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
None

9 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I did pick up some terramycin from TSC just in case I needed an antibiotic. Other than sneezing they seem ok.

10) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
N/A

11) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Laurentian Pine shavings (the laurention is chopped smaller than regular pine shavings). They are housed in the back section of my 2 horse trailer. Their area is about 4x8, sectioned off from the rest of the trailer by hay bales. During the day the 4 side windows are open along with the top vents. At night I close them to keep it warmer in there.

From the description of it, this really sounds like more of a dust issue then sickness. This can lead to a problem if left alone. The sinuses can be damaged and that can allow bacterial or a fungul infection to set in.

I would increase the ventilation during the day if you can or, if it is warm enough, take them out for periods. Also clean out what is in there. Wipe down the inside with a mild bleach solution including the floor. With alot of ventilation, give it an hour or so to dry out. Then add fresh shavings and the chicks.

you could consider also using newspapers instead of wood shavings in your liner. you'll have to change it out every day though
