DH snores, it doesn't bother me unless he suddenly quits. He had a stroke about 10 years ago, so I worry. One of these days he'll wake up with me holding a mirror under his nose to make sure he's still breathing.

Hubbies snoring is so bad I can no longer sleep in thesame room as him.
As for taking care of his snoring he refuses help and does not wish to change/stop the things that make him snore.

My wife had a heart attack some years ago. She has snored every
since. Didn't snore before. Does now.

And I listen.

I remember that night. The days after. My fear of losing her.

It's when the snoring stops that I wake up. And I check on her.

God has given us these last eleven years together since my wifes
heart attack. And I hope He gives us many more.

I still find myself setting on the bed, or in the chair, watching her
sleep.

And thanking God that she is still in my life today.

DH snores....he likes to roll over onto my side of the bed onto MY pillow and SNORE in my ear.

Then, he gets irritated when I wake him up and tell him to roll over to his side.

Now, if he can wait until I am asleep and stay on his side, I can sleep through it.

Spookwriter, I understand how you feel. When DH had a mild heart attack years ago, I would wake up and if I didn't hear him breathing, I would get in his face. The poor man survived a number of nights waking up eyeball to eyeball. That alone could have caused another heart attack! It would have been his fault, though, for not providing me with a mirror to hold up to his nose.

I used to snore very loudly when I still smoked, and DW would smear my face with her hand to wake me up. So one night she was sawing logs so I gently pinched her nose shut. She stopped breathing for a few seconds so I let off, then she went back to sawin' logs. So I pinched her nose shut again and she stopped breathing again. Then she opened her eyes and slapped the snot out of me.

, have you or your wife talked to her Dr. about having a sleep study done? a lot of people that snore really need to have one done, to rule out sleep apnea, which causes a lot of problems, and none of them are good.
