Here are my older hens.
They're not impressed by the camera and they really don't like the snow.

Trying to lure them out of the coop.

Right about here she decides it's too cold and headed back to the coop.

Wonderful photos!! Love the last one as the fuzzy butt heads full steam for the coop! Thanks for pics that make me smile!! Barred Rocks are the BEST!!!

didn't get photos of the one I took out doing her best to cling to my arm, shoulder, neck and coat and not touch the ground. When set down two feet from the door of the coop, she just froze - only blinking - even when shoo'ed by DH. They will eat errant snowballs that land in the coop. Mostly the silly birds just cowered in the corner farthest from the uncovered end. I had put plastic over most of the tractor when the icy winds and rain came in a few days ago. Tossed in lots of fresh sweet horse hay for playing and keeping dry and warm. Silly Girls!
