It's snowing very heavily today but no wind. Three of my girls are acting like there's no snow and roaming around the yard as usual. I used the snow blower to clear paths from the coop to their favorite watering hole(made an artificial stream from the sump pump discharge that stays open no mater how cold it gets). My other three girls won't leave the coop. One of them came halfway down the ramp then desided 'the heck with this, I'm staying inside. I still have the coop temperature up to 55 degrees for my girl that was hurt in a dog attack on new Years day. I think she's going to be okay as she started eating and drinking again and looks almost back to normal however she still acts traumatized and won't come out of the coop. Here's what the coop looks like in the snow. The snow melts at the peak because of the peak vent .
