Looked out my window at 10:30am and there was snow on the ground! I went to see what my gold sex link chickens think of snow! They are 5 months old and this is their first time to see it!

This is what they thought of it at noon. All but two were thinking, "I ain't goin' out there!"

I guess curiosity got the best of them. By 4:00pm they were all out investigating the white fluffy flakes!

Anybody else in Texas getting snow? Dallas area has gotten about 1 inch...and counting...

    Hi,

Yup, I'm getting snow too. I remember the first time our chickens saw snow! Haha, they were first scared, then they tried to eat it and forage in it... they've never gone out in it since. Except with the exception of some of our banties, they like it. [IMG]

All I know is that I'm the coldest I've ever been despite living in much colder areas just over a year ago. So. Cold.
