It's February in Vermont and there are bare spots on the ground. Just ain't right.

Gonna be wet and heavy. Everyone take care and don't overdo the shoveling. I would say shovel as its coming down...but it looks like we're gonna wake up to the worst of it. Got to take down my chicken fort and put the reindeer and sled away...decorations of course. Tomorrow nite is gonna be c-o-l-d !!!! ewww sunday morning is gonna be 15 but feel like 1. brrrrrrrrrr windy. Think I'll pick up a backup lamp for the coop just in case. Where did I put those red christmas spotlights...

We have snow in the forecast for the next six or seven days but its supposed to be light snow.

It is snowing like crazy right now. We are trying to get up enough of whatever it takes to go out and go sledding! Brrrrr! But if we don't go, we'll wish we had. Supposed to be cold here over the weekend too, but we are ready also...already took today off work to play, gonna make brownies and build a fire this weekend. My poor DS has National Guard drill....yuck....he'll have a rough time getting there.

Snow?? I am so jealous!! All we keep getting is rain, rain, and more rain.. So much my sink wont drain and I can't even wash dishes, not that I mind the break per say but,

The snow started here around noon....2-3 hours earlier than what they were predicting. It was melting when it hit the street, but now the grass is covered and the snow is slowly creeping out across the road. We will be buried in about 2 ft when we wake up tomorrow morning. Ugh! I could have happily done without any more snow!

The chickens have fresh bedding, full feeders and waterers and soon as DH gets home from work, we will all be tucked in the house, warm n cozy, til the storm is over!

south Central Pa. here. Bedford County, calling for a foot or more here. Chickens are mad. They finally were just able to free range again since the snow melted, now more to cover up the grass again!!!! I can't wait for spring!!

Hey everyone should take some pictures of the snow and post them!!!!! I will!! might as well get something out of this storm!!

Started snowing lightly here at about 7:00am, came down like crazy all day. This is a much wetter snow that we got last weekend, and it's turned to sleet and rain here, now. We got about four inches today, before the rain started packing it down. We're supposed to get more tomorrow morning.

I'm SO over it.
