We live in SW UK, so not very often do we get snow
When we do, it is not very often that we get them proper
This pitiful amount is just about all we're having
but it's our goose babies first time in snow!!

"I'm the prettiest"

"Er...wait...I'm not ready"

"ok, I'm ready now"

"Sugar, get out of my shot"

"Now now now, take my picture!!"

"Huh?"

"I'm the prettiest" Sugar says
Milk goes "erm...ok"

"Yo, little cat. what'cha looking at?"

"are you not done yet?"

"oh, here we go with the hugs again"

"Oi, little cat, quit checking me out" Guardian says

Sugar: "G boss, you know what that lump of cold stuff is?"
Guardian: "no idea, but them humans keep shoving us towards it"
Milk: "why's it looking at me?"

They are gorgeous, thanks for sharing with us.

Sorry, I had misunderstood the word Babies, i thought for a minute you had young ones - but silly, as it isn't the season yet!!!

Don't they look gorgeous! And so nice they have all different markings so it is easy to spot them. Great captions and...how do they react to the cat when he/she is out?

Very funny lot! I bet he is very loving, Mr Guardian. I must find a way to upload my video!

Thanks for sharing those and taking the time to do it, it is very entertaining and enjoyable!

Haha, that's my fault
my sister & I got in a habit of calling them babies
it is a bit misleading, coming to think of it, ooops~

When we first got them, my mum was a bit disappointed that they had patchy markings on them
but I thought it'd be good for telling them apart
Guardian's got a dark patch at the front of his neck, I used to refer to it as his "bowtie", coz he's a boy, u know~ hehe
when he was smaller, it used to look more like a heart shape, but not so much anymore

the cat's actually our neighbour's
it's a girl cat called Tilly, she's new and not allowed out yet
we take them out to our neighbour's front lawn
the geese "trim" the lawn
it's great, our neighbour didn't have to mow their lawn once since last summer
nobody likes to mow the lawn, right?!

Guardian is very loving indeed!
he likes to attack my sister lately, but I hope in time it'll get better
Him & Milk is kinda a couple now
just this morning, we were herding them to the other side of the garden
He insisted on waiting till Milk caught up with us
They "reunited", he let Milk walk in front of him and he followed closely

Thank you for replying to my post ^_^
It'd be great to see your geese, I look forward to your video and hope u'll manage to upload it soon :)

It is very handy they have those markings, and it makes them more unusual as geese: I had never seen any like those!
Ours, they looked so similar I coudln't tell them apart for months, till I realised one of them had an extra toe, and the only difference with the other two was Mais had definitely beautiful eyes, and the other's eyes were smaller with less orange around them. But so hard at a distance!
You are so lucky to have a couple... My poor Mais would love a lady.
And yes, geese are great lawn mowers! Given enough time, they are as good as sheep! and the lawn is beautifully done...
