Lilly sighed, she Looked scorn in the eyes," I...I know this isn't your mother..., Sandstorm was my... My sister. " She said as teared flowed.
" I know you love her.., we both... Love her," lilly said thru the tears, she looked at her sisters body, sadness swelling within.

Scorn was shocked but didn't show it. She just snuggled up closer to SandStorm.

Scorn was confused at why SandStorm was in the woods on her own to begin with if she had a sister and at why she had never said anything but she didn't voice any of this aloud.

Lilly looked at the pup," come with me little one. Sandstorm isn't here anymore" she said softly, hoping, praying she's listen.

"I won't leave her," Scorn said defiantly, snuggling closer to the almost unrecognizable body.

Lilly suddenly saw something move inside sands ribs, a snake was slithering it's way out... And onto scorn! " Watch out!" Lilly barked, taking scorn by the scruff and moving her before the snakes fangs sank in.
