Meadow laughed "just because you don't have all four legs doesn't mean you can't be important." she seemed to have read Cove's mind

Hearing that Cove smiled and his tail started wagging wildly. "Ah, I'll think about it," he smiled, "then I'll let you know as soon as I've made my decision." Cove paused his tail, thought for a second, then said, "It'll probably be a yes, though." Then he looked back at Lark to make certain that he didn't try anything while he was destracted.

Cove twitched his left ear again and smiled. "Ok." He thought to himself and wagged his tail. He was staring at Lark again even though he knew Meadow had things under control. He was deeply thinking about what Meadow had said to him, and was thinking about saying yes. But, he knew on any big decision, one should put in a lot of deep and careful thought into it first.
