May I make a suggestion?

Perhaps the #10 poster for each page could be the one to add up all the posts for the page? Then, the #1 person on the next page could post: 6123 (from previous page) + (my) 10. #2 person posts his or her 13, etc. #10 person posts his or her 24. Total additions on this page is 111. New grand total 6123 + 111 = 6234.

Does that make sense?

That may help with the confusion of same-time posters a bit. Course, this method would require #10 and #1 posters to be aware of their post #s.
