So, after 48 hours...

I need to take my baby chick out of the bator after 48 hours, right? I have two other eggs in there, and so far, no luck. Today, is just day 22 though. #1 hatched yesterday... Do I just take my chick out and quickly shut it, or should I do something else / more? Thanks!!

Have a small box or other container ready, then pop the lid and snatch the chick real quick and put it in the box while you are re-situating the lid. Congratz on your new baby!

Sorry, I misunderstood. Soon as your chick is dry, you can take it out. No need to wait 48 hours.

Really!! I thought I read at least a couple of times that I should not open the bator unless it's absolutely necessary to take baby chick out....... Hmm... my son will be so thrilled!

Maybe I will wait until the morning since I don't have a brooder set-up anyway.. I am the queen of procrastination!
