Ok guys, here is the question, I am going to the ranch for the weekend, and nobody will be home, so I plan on taking the ducks over with me to the ranch (it's about 30 minutes away.) They are starting their 28th day, so i know they will hatch soon, they are also internally pipped. Will it affect ducks if i disconnect the incubator to transport them?

This late in the incubation the ducklings will be fine with a temp drop for 30 minutes. But its not a great idea to be transporting them- humidity could be effected- and the jostling of the car may not be good for them either. They could be fine- but there are some risks involved. Let us know how your hatch goes... Ducklings at easter will be a nice treat for you.
