I live on a dirt road and our neighbors are rather reclusive. Friendly enough when you corner them but they keep to themselves. I think that's why people move here. It's a horse trail. I love the seclusion. Only eight houses on a two mile road. At least two of those houses already have chickens. So I'll probably have to give them away. That's fine.

You know, I've been in and out of the local TSC for nearly ten years for this and that and was always greeted with normal courtesy. Now that I have went over to the chicken side, when I walk in there are smiles and sometimes waves and howdys. Either there is some sort of detector at the door or my picture is posted in the break room. I think the cashiers can just feel their percentages about to go up.
