BrahmaMama and colebarnhart It is a challenge to find what works for you - course a good broody is fantastic and makes life so much easier. But hatching in the house is...amazing. I hope you keep trying. Try to find some local eggs first - maybe thru BYC in the where am I where are you forum, in the thread for your state or post in the wanted section for local fertile eggs. Research what works best for your incubator - I use a Little Giant, forced air with a turner bator and it is hated by many, but I have found what works for me - a stable room is most important.

Keep track of what you do, ask people local to you what works for them and do not be afraid if they do not hatch (I know it is hard, and I always am) but those eggs could have just as easily been eaten by someone and never had a chance at hatching.
