What breed is he supposed to be? From the front he looks a bit like a fav from the rear looks a bit like a Brahma. Lying down he looks like an Owl!!

But there's no doubt HE is a HE 100%

he looks like an ee (and no i dont think every mixed breed is an ee) just have seen a few ee's look like him

he is purebread ameraucana, both parents full ameraucana, mother was brown/red ameraucana father was blue wheaton ameraucana, so he is ameraucana, not an EE. I asked the place I got him.

The Ameraucana Breeders Club defines an Easter Egg chicken or Easter Egger as any chicken that possesses the blue egg gene, but doesn’t fully meet any breed descriptions as defined in the APA and/or ABA standards. Further, even if a bird meets an Ameraucana standard breed description, but doesn’t meet a variety description or breed true at least 50% of the time it is considered an Easter Egg chicken.

He can have both pure Ameraucana parents and still be an EE since he doesn't meet any of the color types that are recognized by the APA.
