So excited for next spring!

We are moving into a better house this fall, and the best part is, I'll be able to have chickens! I have had chickens before on two separate occasions, but the first time they were completely free range and all got killed eventually, and the second time I had to give them away due to moving to a house where we couldn't keep them. I've already found a nearby hatchery that has many Polish Crested varieties (I want at least of couple of them, they are my favorite breed), and I only need to order 6 from them, which works out just fine! I'm planning on getting at least two Polish and the rest will be regulars like Rhode Island Reds, Leghorns and Barred Rocks. Can't wait till next spring when I can welcome 6 beautiful girls into my life once again! Anyone else in a similar boat?

I have three chickens, (and another three in the brooder!) but I remember how excited I was the first time I was going to get chickens. Congrats!
