So Excited!! Pekin Hen Laying :)

I have a 1 year old black runner duck who has been laying for a long time, well I went into the coop to clean it and found some eggs (6) under the hutch. Some where big, like the runners and some were small but definately duck eggs. I thought maybe Daisy was laying but didn't confirm until this am. One small round one for Daisy the pekin hen and one large oval for Shadow the black runner

I have to get excited since I have 40 chickens and get 2 eggs a day from them

They are turning 5 months so hopefully they will get going soon

Atleast I can depend on my duckies

When I found the nest, I was raking so I cracked the shell on 2 of the bigger ones and both were double yokers!! I love my duckies

Yay!!! I get an egg a day from my Pekin girl! So egg-citing! They are soooo good when you bake, makes everything tast so rich! Your girls will start giving you eggs real soon.
