Hi everyone!
I have been lurking here for months while we got our yard and coop ready for chickens. The time has come and I am so excited to start our backyard chicken adventure. I would like to start out with a few hens that are either new laying or very near laying before we venture into chicks. I am often impatient and want to see the fruits of my labor, well not my labor, very quickly.
We live in Gilbert AZ, in your typical tract home neighborhood with an HOA. I have a decent coop and a large run for the chickens. The run is detachable and I can move it around the yard.
I cant wait to get to know everyone here!
