So a little back story, during the summer of 2010 I worked at a kennel that boarded dogs from rescues. They specifically worked with a Cocker Spaniel rescue in the area and I fell in love with the breed and the dogs there. I left the kennel when I went back to school and have spent the past couple years looking at CS photos, videos, etc. Just this past week, I found the website of the rescue that boarded at the kennel and signed up for their volunteer program. I got a reply back today and have been accepted to help work in their public relations department planning events. I will also be one of the people that hold the dogs at adoption events, and I will be doing kennel visits to play and walk with the dogs.
I need to get my breed fix until I graduate and get my own Cocker Spaniel!
