So frustrated

I have 7 ducks, all of which are about 8 months old now. There are 4 Pekin and 3 Silver Appleyard.

I firmly believe that your animals benefit from fresh fruits and vegetables. I've tried IN VAIN to get my ducks to eat any of this stuff and they will not touch it!

Won't eat -

Watermelon
Grapes
Blueberries
Strawberries
Raspberries
Peas
Broccoli
Tomatoes
Pumpkin

The ONLY thing I can get them to eat is kale and mint.... If I chop it up really small and put it in their water.

To be fair, I put ALL of the stuff I tried to feed them in a big bowl of water. Didn't help.

They prpbably dont feel the need to eat iit since their duck food has all they need

Pureed in a blender? I admit, I haven't had ducks since I was a kid...

I have 9 ducks. My original 3 will eat peas and won’t eat any of the stuff you have listed either. None of the others will touch any of it. I do catch them nibbling on rosemary though.

I've tried lots of things with my ducks too and it seems like they like best what they were given when they were babies and aren't willing to venture far beyond that. In my case it's peas, cubed zucchini, and kale.

daily veggies are great for ducks! mines favorites are cucumber, peas, tomato, carrot, romaine lettuce, and cabbage

some other treats they like are salmon, minnows, mealworms, flygrubs, mozzarella cheese, oats (and oatmeal), sunflower seeds, chia seeds, watermelon, and berries
