Hi families of feathered friends! I'm new here and here's a bit about me...

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am brand new to chickens and inherited 2 about 2 months ago

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 2

(3) What breeds do you have? not sure...she said they are a hearty breed that do really well in the winters here in Colorado

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? the friend that gave me her chickens HIGHLY recommended this site!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I like to silversmith and make jewelry in my spare time (is that a thing? lol)

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have 2 sons and my favorite other son who is a Saint Bernard ;)

hi! silversmithing is when you melt silver and cast it into jewelry :)
