Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Just got the start of my flock about 3 weeks ago!! Baby chicks are adorable and I can't wait for the benefits for my family!!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 21!!

(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Red, black australorp, bantam, cornish cross
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? MEat and eggs!!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy quilting and watching my kiddos play sports!! I love to garden

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 kids 18 and 12. Sending my oldest off to college in august!! I am married, been together 15 years .. oh how time flies!!! I have 21 chicks, 2 dogs and a bearded dragon. I was a nurse for 10 years but am now disabled (hopefully not forever).

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
When I started my flock I had so many questions and every Google search led me to this forum!!
