Our girls free range during the day, but we built this enclosure around the little coop (painted lavender & green, from a kit) to keep them safe at night and on days when it isn't safe for them to be in the yard.
Then we added two new little girls to the flock, and the big girls refuse to share their coop at night, so we added a second coop for them (the dark purple) for the littles.
Sooooooooo... two coops, a purple roost, a log, food, water, hanging flower baskets and more potted flowers, with lavender & mint below (to keep flies away) and party lights -- voilá! I love it!
