So how many could I feasibly have in my coop and run?

I currently have 7 ladies and have randomly acquired a roo. The coop when finished will be 7'x8' and they will have a run of 10'x30'(might be 40' not sure yet)

I know that is enough room for that amount (it is right?) but what is the maximum I could have if I desired?

There is not one simple answer to this. For one thing, it depends on climate, how snowed in they will be in winter, or whether they will be. this has been discussed many times here. Here is just one thread, from the FAQ page:
